Our Foundation Stage went on their annual visit to West Lodge Rural Centre on 4th May. We all had a fantastic, sunny day and the children enjoyed feeding the lambs, taking walks around the farm and playing on the outdoor equipment. The children were told all about the farmland, the animals that grazed there and the wheat that they grow. It was also lovely to hold and stroke the guinea pigs and rabbits. The new indoor play area was a big hit and all the children thought it was amazing. We all had a bumpy barrel ride, which was lots of fun. The children were all extremely well behaved and loved their day out. We have visited West Lodge for many years now and it always proves to be a worthwhile day, as we are treated so well by the staff there. A big thank you to all the parents and carers who came with us to help with the children. We could not go on a trip of this kind without your continued support!
