Fleckney C of E Primary School

Together we make learning an adventure

Able Linguist Japan Day

Four children from Year 6 (Rafa, Daisy, Jack and Isabelle) represented the school in a Japan Day at the Edward Monk Hall in Foxton. Seven schools were involved – Fleckney, Little Bowden, St Cuthbert’s, Foxton, Hallaton, Billesdon and Church Langton. Two workshops took place in the morning – Japanese Calligraphy (taught by Yasuko - sensei) and Japanese Language (taught by Kaori - sensei). In the afternoon, all children came together to carry out a Taiko Drumming workshop with Simon - sensei. It was a successful day; the children displayed such enthusiasm, maturity and creativity. Each and every child was certainly a true credit to their school. Arigato gozaimashita!
