Together we make learning an adventure

Easter Services

In our Easter services this year we looked at the story of the first Easter morning when Mary Magdalene and the disciples visited the tomb. Some of our Year 1 children read the Bible verses beautifully whilst Amelia and Tom assisted some of our FS children in miming the story. Our wonderful choir, led by Miss Hamilton, sang Goodall’s “The Lord is my Shepherd” in such a moving way. Finally, the M & M poem gave the children lots to think about before leaving the church with an M & M in their pocket to remind them of the ‘m’, ‘w’, ‘e’ and ‘3’! Many thanks to Father Philip for his talk about the East window; to Mr Baum for accompanying our singing on the keyboard and to Mr Ager and the many parents and helpers who supported the children in so many ways.
