On Monday 10th June - Tuesday 11th June, Year 2 went on a fantastic new residential trip to Beaudesert Outdoor Activity in Staffordshire located on the edge of Cannock Chase. During our stay the children took part in many exciting activities such as zip-wire, archery, monkey climbing trees, shelter building and team building games. As always the children’s behaviour was amazing and they achieved so much during their time there. Despite the very wet weather the children’s enthusiasm and excitement for each activity was a joy to see and a super time was had by all!
12.00pm: We have arrived safely at beaudesert and are very excited. We have settled into our rooms and now ready to eat our packed lunches.
2.40pm We have braved the rain and walked down to the Iron Age Hill fort and through the forests. The sunshine has just come out in time for our first activity.
7.30pm Just eaten a delicious dinner of spaghetti and meat balls. Now off to our evening activity.
9.50pm Had a fun evening activity and hot chocolate, now all tucked up in bed after a great first day!
9.00am A very Good Morning from beaudesert, We have had a super nights sleep. We all slept so well. Just had a filling breakfast and off into the very wet and windy weather to do some fun activities: Zip wire, monkey climbing trees, archery and Shelter building.
