On Wednesday 5th February Year 4 embarked on their annual trip to Edale. What a week we had. Blessed with winter sun, we had a fabulous time enjoying the outdoors. Edale, set in the Peak District, is a beautiful place to visit. All children took part in a variety of activities, all outdoors, in this picturesque landscape. Activities included: weasling, crate stacking, orienteering, night hiking and abseiling. All children showed bravery and were prepared to push themselves to try new things, despite not all liking heights. As always, the staff from the Youth hostel in Edale were very complimentary about the behaviour and attitude of our children. In addition to being polite and well mannered, the children displayed excellent teamwork skills and demonstrated a can do attitude. Well done Year 4, an exciting and enjoyable trip!
