Request for Absence during the School Year

Under the school attendance regulations which came into force on 1st September 2013, head teachers may not grant any leave of absence during term time unless there are exceptional circumstances. 

Therefore, you need to complete a request for absence form if you are intending to take your child out of school during the school year.
